General Manager – Media Production & Communications

• Develop and implement the organization’s communication and media production strategy, including branding, visibility plans, broadcasting planning and media guidelines aligned with donor requirements.
• Oversee the production and dissemination of all communication materials, including reports, brochures, newsletters, press releases, videos, photography, Radio, TV broadcasting and social media content.
• Ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of content and delivery across all platforms (TV, Radio, social media, Print Graphics), maintaining brand standards.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the media and communications department, optimizing workflows and resource utilization.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and key external partners.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4–7 years of experience in communications and media management, development organizations in Afghanistan. 
• At least 4 years in a senior leadership role is preferred.
• Proven track record in strategic communication, branding, media relations, and visibility management.
• Strong understanding of the multi-platform media landscape (digital, broadcast, print).
• Experience in digital communication, social media strategy, and content production tools.
• Excellent writing, editing, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
• Languages: Excellent command of English; Fluency in Dari and Pashto is required.
