Job summary

  • Conduct required trainings such as methodology, refreshers, and other trainings specified for the project beneficiaries, particularly the CBE teachers.
  • Provide regular coaching and technical support to CBE teachers.
  • Conduct supportive supervision visits to targeted classes to ensure the quality of implementation.
  • Monitor TLM availability and their proper usage, particularly by the students.
  • Review and verify school-level data and reports and submit timely consolidated reports to the Project Coordinator.
  • Identify implementation gaps and provide corrective actions and follow-up support.
  • Coordinate closely with DED, school principals, teachers, communities, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, PSEA/PSH, child protection, accountability, and organizational policies.
  • Be available in the partner training session to ensure partners trainers are supported, training is relevant, needs-based, and well organized, good training methods are implemented and trainees are satisfied.
  • Filing the records of OCCD training and writing reports on the activities she conducts.
  • Preparing/compiling individual training manuals for each required training package.
  • Learning about new training areas and training contents needed for the CBE and other related programs.
  • Regularly visits the CBE classes whether the training contents are being implemented in the class to gauge the impact of the training delivered.
  • Perform any other project activity assigned by the provincial Manager.

Job requirements

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, or any other related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in Education sector, preferably NGOs.
  • Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, supervision, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Good coordination and communication skills with government and community stakeholders.
  • Good computer skills, particularly MS Word and Excel.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Kunar Province.
  • Language- (Pashto: Fluent, Dari: Good working knowledge preferred, and English: Good working knowledge desirable)
